Frequently Asked Questions

There are a lot of questions naturally cropping up and we wanted to help address them all. We’ll add more content here as we field more questions from friends and family.

It is only natural that there are questions that occur when we are juggling two weddings across two continents and with three cultures worth of traditions. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the bride and groom at any stage with questions you might have!

Will there be a ceremony and when should I arrive?

?? Yes, we will be having a Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony. We intend to start at 4pm but ask guests to arrive 15 minutes early to take their seats.

What is the easiest way to get from the Airport to the Town?

The easiest way to get from London (Heathrow or Gatwick) is to hire a car and drive. The alternative route is to take one of the trains (GWR from Paddington Station, or Southwest from Waterloo Station). We’ve detailed all the specific travel details for getting to Exmouth on the link below:

There are two great routes to get from Boston to Worcester – either by car or by train. The commuter rail runs a decent schedule from Boston to Worcester, and cars have an easy direct path from the airport to Worcester as well. What is the dress code?

Formal Wear

For context – our wedding will take place at a Cathedral and a beautiful Music Hall and the bridesmaids are wearing floor-length gowns. The groom and his groomsmen will be wearing a suit and tie.

Cocktail Wear

The wedding party will be wearing their gowns and suits again. Our event will be taking place in a country barn.

Will any part of the event take place indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place indoors.

The wedding ceremony and reception will primarily take place indoors, but our catering will be based outside and can then be brought indoors.

Is there parking available at the venue?

There is parking available at the Cathedral and the Hall.

There is parking available at the Barn, just to the side in the adjacent field.

Are children invited?

Due to space constraints we are unable to accommodate children at the wedding.

Children are welcome at the celebration but we do ask that you include them on the RSVP so we can anticipate the correct numbers.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Our wedding ceremony and reception are the primary events of the weekend. For our out-of-town guests, we will also be having a Rehearsal Dinner on Friday and Sunday Brunch.

Our wedding celebration will be the primary event of the weekend. For our out-of-town guests we will be at the venue on Friday for a casual dinner and a casual Sunday breakfast.
