First Date
Matt & Jamie have their first date at "American Joe's" in Covent Garden. When it came to pay for the meal Matt picked up the receipt, and when Jamie insisted on splitting it he suggested she buy the next meal (and she did).

Jamie meets the Sheres
Matt invited Jamie to Exeter to participate in a University tradition called "Valentopsham" with his friends. On the Sunday of the weekend he introduced her to his parents, Ann & Paul, over lunch at Prezzo in Exeter.

Matt Visits Massachusetts
Matt bravely traveled to Massachusetts in the summer of 2018 to see where Jamie grew up and to meet her family, and experience his first Sox game at Fenway.

Matt and Jamie traveled to Helsinki for a long weekend and learned that they traveled well together!

Jamie becomes a British Citizen
Matt was on hand when Jamie got her citizenship in Westminster, and even ensured the entire event was filmed.

Matt traveled home with Jamie for Christmas back in Massachusetts, where he continued to meet even more of her extended family.

Matt & Jamie Move In Together
After dating for over a year Matt and Jamie chose to move in together, picking a flat in Woking with good trains into London and easy access to Guildford.

Red Sox in London
When tickets went on sale for the Red Sox vs Yankees games in London Matt was all for it! Final proof that Jamie had converted the Brit into being a proper baseball fan.

Sheres Visit New Hampshire
Ann & Paul traveled to New Hampshire to meet Janet & Brian and experience beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee. The visit was deemed to be a success by all parties and the Sheres even took the art of cocktail hour home to Devon where they continue to enjoy it until this day.

Family Wedding in Milwaukee
Matt & Jamie traveled to Chicago and Milwaukee for her cousin Thalia's wedding. Matt got his first taste of the Midwest, Greek Dancing, and met dozens of more family members along the way.

A Weekend in Scotland
Matt & Jamie traveled to Scotland for a long weekend on Jamie's birthday. Together with friends they stayed in a castle bridge, toured whisky distilleries, and enjoyed the wilds of Scotland's Cairngorm National Park.

Engaged!
After a romantic meal at Lock50 in Worcester, Matt proposed to Jamie in her childhood home. And together with Janet & Brian they celebrated with champagne. They texted the news to Ann & Paul as well, who had stayed awake to hear the answer.
